Methods

After looking at the gap in research, I decided to conduct a survey to find out the reason that so many teens are using nicotine devices with the known risks of them. I used a survey method with questions to figure out what the reason is that they use it, how many people use it, and how long they have been using it for. I found these numbers by surveying students at the University of Iowa.

  1. When you do the methods section here are a few tips:
    * Use at least two headings to help distinguish between different information (participants, procedures/survey, data analysis)
    * For the participants I would recommend discussing what demographics responded to your poll if you have that information (ex. majority of participants were of the 18-20 range and were Caucasian or Hispanic)
    * Discuss how you analysis the data. (Ex. Did you compare how different demographics rated something on a scale of 1 to 5? Did you analysis your interviewees answers to find a common theme?)
    * Make sure to not get too detailed to keep it concise, but make sure you still provide all the information
